When you're not around,
My heart falls, but I'm still here,
I try to smile, but still inside the blank face,
Empty, confused, I fill with fear.

Loss of mind, control,
My smile comes but fades away,
I can't hold it,
It slips away, for what might play.

Take my mind away,
From the smile you take,
The soul that can't be replaced,
And, the heart that may break.

Behind a smile,
There is you,
Your face,
Spread my wings out and fly.
