Mexican Pride

We come to America from Mexico to work and slave
Just to get under paid
we work for a better life and to get out of poverty
without us where would you be?
you eat our food and come into our stores,
as we wipe your dirty floors
we construct your roads, paint your houses, and fix what is broken
if you think you can make it without us you must be jokin
we do everything for you Americans and all we hear is "go back to where you came from!"
when America is what we consider our home
we slowly lose our heritage to abide by your American ways
Do you really think that you can live without us Mexicans for a couple of days?
all we ask is to live out of poverty and to be treated fair
Maybe if we dissapear you Americans will begin to care
