The Accident

It all started with a glimpse of your eyes
then to your great big smile
then from a smile to listening to you cry
cry not because your sad
cry because you have met somebody great
somebody you love, somebody that mad you feel glad
you tell me hes somebody who treats you right
and i tell you, I'm happy to see you happy
you also tell me, when you see him, he makes your day bright
hes a loving and caring guy you say
i cant do nothing but smile
you even told me, he asked you out yesterday
you said yes and was beyond bliss
because you say, why do i deserve this ?
and i say, your a great person, you deserve the best
and you tell me, thanks, i appreciate it
your a good friend, unlike the rest
after that conversation we didn't talk
months went by and i wondered how you were
then out of nowhere, i see you but you couldn't walk
i asked what happened ?, you tell me your paralyzed
I'm shocked, thats something i wouldn't have realized
wheres you boyfriend i asked, you reply, hes gone
the accident was so bad, its something you should have seen
as i start talking to you, i wake up and realize it was only a dream
