Alone

by Cemp   Apr 3, 2006

Deep in the pit, a creature does dwell
Even when lit, it is still hell
I looked into the fire, saw sinners aflame
Every one a liar, they were all to blame
Flesh dark as ash, peeling away
They began to thrash, save us we pray
I looked in their eyes, hollow sockets of gray
I told them their lies, and that they should pay
They hung their head low, they knew the way
I was their foe, I gave them away
I turn to go, my head held high
They are my foe, I won't tell them why
Screams all around, I smile real wide
Enjoying the sound, now they are fried
I hike my way home, back to my life
Free to roam, I just visited my wife
She wonâ??t be back, I made sure of that
Made her see black, like a dirty rat
Home at last, lights are all on
I continue to fast, everyone is gone
I still smile with glee, I did all this
I made them all flee, I pretend not to miss
Gave it all away, a stupid game was played
I continue to pray, I pull the shade
I pull out the knife, sharpened steel
End my life, I cannot deal
Alone am I, by myself once again
I am going to die, like I was then
Pull the knife tight, push it in deep
Shut out the light, I'm falling asleep
