My Lullaby

by Stacey de Luna   Apr 3, 2006

The fairy tales of princes
And damsels in distress
Used to be my greatest intrigue
And now they are second best
I miss the days of pretending
And wishing that I could fly
I miss the days where I was free
To search for my lullaby
Before I knew about fashion
And the things that I do now
I believed in everlasting love
But no one showed me how
I dreamed of finding my true love
A prince that was meant for me
I hope of one day meeting this prince
But that will never be
My prince doesn't exist here
On land or in the sky
He can only live in my fantasies
He exists in my lullaby
