Me and My Music

*This was a challenge poem*

Music is my remedy in life,
It takes me away,
And lets me be in my own world,
Instead of being so concerned about today...

It gives me the strength to carry on when I am weak,
It mellows me out when I am pissed,
No matter what I am doing or where I am,
Music is always number 1 on my list...

Music makes you never feel alone,
And it keeps me sane,
It makes me think about certain things,
And it shows me what I can gain...

Music gets my mind off things,
And just lets me escape from reality,
It's always been there whenever you need it,
Don't you have to agree?..

Whether it may be in times of need,
Or happy times with friends,
It's always there,
And it will be with you until the end...
