((Just want to warn people that this wasnt my best, Ill admit it because I was just jotting things down. It kind of explains the story of how me and my ex boyfriend started but I know I could do better in my poem, so any comments or votes are appreciated, THANK YOU))
When I was sad people would pass me on by
Never asking me why Id sit and cry

Now that I have a smile on my face
People see me with a much different grace

From the first time I saw you I knew youd be hard to forget
I thought Id never have you and that would be my first regret

When I was younger I would pray
To find a true love that would forever stay

As I got older this life got tougher
Trying to find true love only got rougher

Guys thought they could do whoever
And keep their game going forever

But it wasnt like that when I found you
I guess you saw something in me too

We talked on the phone, keeping in touch
Telling you I liked you so much

The day of your birthday I called you for a minute
Then you told me you wanted us to be a unit

I missed you cause we lived so far apart
But you were always in my head and in my heart

We overcame some problems and fights
Yet we always knew the wrongs from the rights

Girls asking for your number, guys wanting to get with me
Yet there was no way they would get you, I would never set you free

Id rather spend my life forever in your arms
I know youll keep me away from all harms

Ill be there for you no matter what you go through
Just wanted to remind you how much I love you
