I'm speaking,
But all that's coming out is words,
Empty,
Meaningless.

I'm hearing,
But all that's washing past is a blur of noise,
Empty,
Meaningless.

I'm doing,
But all my actions are mundane replicas of the past,
Empty,
Meaningless.

I'm living,
But all I'm living is a lie,
Empty,
Meaningless.

So lets just end it there.

    aagain i like the repetition at the end of each stanza
    the emptiness is very well portrayed in this poem, i have no criticism for this poem(sorry to let you down)

    Suprise. Another great write =) I love reading your poems. They have something I cant quite point out like no ohter. Like they stand out? I like it how you end the same quote on every verse.
