What's the Purpose?

Itâ??s happening all over again,
Blacks against whites
When is this mess
Going to end?

Here comes segregation
Walking right our way,
It looks like trouble
And it wants to stay.

I remember a day,
As I walked through the hall,
All the whites were walking
But the blacks were posted on the wall.

There is no need for this
We are all the same,
Even though we are different colors
And may have a different dream!

Our world would be plain,
If we could only
Associate
With that same!

Everyone should be treated equally,
No one is better than another
We are all the same
Just another color and another dream!
