Shattered Memories

My heart has been shattered into to many pieces,
I can't go back and pretend I've never cared.
You were more then just a friend,
I told you all my secrets,
You knew me better then any one else.
Memories of how things use to be often replay in mind,
I can't change the past,
But I can try and make the present better.
I always needed you to hold me close,
And tell me everything will be OK,
But a few broken promises,
And everything changes.
I no longer have you to dry my tears,
I just have you to cause me more.
I still think about you,
And wish we could create some new memories,
But life has forbidden us to be friends.

    It sucks when you lose someone close to you, just cos you have to adapt and find sumone else, but sumtimes that sumone else can show u a better time than youve ever had before, so stay strong!!

    So sad - I can mostly relate . . . Things don't always go wrong - sometimes a bad thing can turn out to be good . . . And sometimes it can lead to something worse . . .Awesoem poetry.
