What Do You Want From Me?

You look at me with unforgiving eyes
i wronged you and you can not forgive me
but what you don't realize is that I did it for you
I did not want to hurt you, but I guess that turned around on me
The tears stream down my face in the middle of the night
I stare out my window to the moon and the stars
And think of how somewhere, you are looking at the exact same thing i am
but in a different view
just like the situation that we are in
You lay your guilt trips on me
Cause me to feel horrible for letting you go
But I do feel horrible, I realize what I have done to hurt you
There is no getting over those fights
Or the way that you went after all the others
But you couldn't get them, so you went to me
So move on, I was just a rebound
Forget me and leave me behind
As I will do the same to you
If you can't handle being friends, talking to me at a normal rate
Then don't talk to me at all
I already told you I was sorry but you can't forgive me
but you talk as if you would have rathered me hurt you
The phone rings in the silenced night
but do you really expect me to answer it?
Think again, not until you answer my question
