Solitary Witch.

by Poppy   Apr 4, 2006

She walks the moonlit path of night,
Follows the faeries light,
She stops near an ancient stream,
And calls to her nature's power.

Hidden meanings, carved out signs,
Whispered magick, ancient rhymes,
She casts her spell, opens her circle,
Alone she walks the forest path back.

The power strengthens with her age,
From Maiden, to Mother, to Crone,
As the wheels of years turn,
So does her mind spin.

Alone she shall grow, Alone she does live,
Alone she will die, Alone she shall fly,
About the wonders of Summertime,
Awaiting to be reborn, awaiting her soulmate.

She works alone, Through history's path.
She loves no other, But her craft.
She is a solitary witch, in a solitary world.
She weaves her magick, Cast's her spells.
