The Lie

by Sophi[e]   Apr 4, 2006

See the beauty of red rose petals.
It dies, and then soon the redness falls.
It'll be reborn and grow strong.
The petals will be pretty and live long.

Tear them up and throw them around.
Watch it all drop to the ground.
Feel the ice break underneath your feet
It's way to thin, just a thin sheet.

You watch the rainbow cross the sky.
Wait for the tails, and the lie.
You see the girl trying to find the end.
Like thats her life that's on the mend.

So messed up, and left on the side.
You see her wounds from where she's cried.
Leave her to deal with it in her own way.
They all shouted so she didn't get a say.

She is beautiful, she is so.
But no one can see all her woe.
So she is like the rose petals.
Beautiful and her own redness falls.
