This angel that you pray for at night
is it just a dream, or can you see her in sight

for as nights can grow cold
and you feel alone with no one to hold

only left with tears of bitter sweet
and a wind that has swept you off your feet

so this feeling that you hold ever so tight
can you trust and come to me without any fright
