Death

by kerri caris   Apr 5, 2006

I remember that day
You were at home
While family and friends were away
When your mom got the call that caused her to roam

The call was about you
She said she had to go
We could tell she was blue
She left and we left it as so

But then she called us
And asked us if we could come
Everyone made a fuss
On the way I turned numb

The doctors were sure
That you would not last long
They never did find a cure
But you proved them wrong

Until you had a seizure
That caused us all to cry
We were all enjoying our leisure
Johnny, why did you have to die
