Dear Editor.

You always believe in me,
When others do not understand my dreams.
You alway give words of encouragement.
Helping me to have different writing themes.

Whenever I have self doubt,
You know just what to say.
So I can begin to write again,
And continue along on my way.

This journey has been interesting,
Has challenged thoughts and emotions.
Has been like a therapy,
When everything else seemed broken.

To write a book of my thoughts,
To share with all my dreams.
A scary confronting journey,
As all was not as it seems.

I always seemed so strong,
Mainly putting on fake smiles.
Always answering "Good thanks",
Often dieing on the inside.

Thank you for always being there,
A friendly face and kind ear.
Always listening and offering advice
And always sounding sincere.

It means so much to have support,
When sometimes I feel I'm alone.
This journey may last a lifetime,
Be with me wherever I may roam.

I am sure that you will smile,
When you finally read my book.
Knowing how much you influenced me.
Reading all the knowledge I took.

I listen to you and believe you,
Every piece of advice to true.
We seem to work well together,
I will always look up to and admire you.
