Driven away from me

It was along time ago
About 3years to be exact
When I met this boy
Named Jack

He was not ugly
He was not dumb
He was funny
But he had no mum

That made a difference I guess
I found it hard to talk to him
I think that was why but ill never know now
Since he is gone

He was scared and lonely
His dad was always working
Trying to get money to support him
But it was never enough

One day he just went mental in class
He got himself sent home
I went round to see what was wrong
His dad let me in and sat me down

He said he’s gone
I paused and thought what he meant for a minute
I did not want to accept it
But after a while life went on and I moved on
