7 years together

I do not really know what to say
Or how it started really
Only that we have been together 7 years
And not a single tear

We might as well get married
But maybe were to young
I âm only 10
That makes me 3 when we got together

Everyone made fun
But then they just accepted it
They only made fun because they were jealous
That is what my mum used to say before she went

She was very happy with me before she died
Happy that I was so in love to keep it up this long
That was 4 years ago
She died of cancer with me by her side

I wonder what she would think now
4 years on
7 years together
My dads pleased and so is Lillian
His new girlfriend

But she also thinks I should move on
And that I could do better
I say I think not
Even if I could do better I donâ??t want to

She is everything I need and more than I could ask for
So make 7 years into a lifetime
Because I love her and she loves me
