Life (for Amanda)

I don't write of you because I know you
I write of you because I know what your going through
Or at least Ill try my best to put your thoughts in my own words

Ill start with life

Life in its own
Is a destiny to be?
Sometimes I believe were here for a reason
Or maybe its just me?

Sometimes were depressed
Because we feel like there's nobody in the world
I mean if only we were able to make every dream come true
It would probably make you a happier girl

But than what would life be for
If we weren't aloud to make mistakes
How would life be if everything was pleasant?
How long would life take?

If life were eternal happiness
Than you wouldn't know what was sad?
So if you didn't know what made you sad
You probably wouldn't know what makes you mad?

If you were forever smiling without ever releasing a frown?
Than answer this question to yourself?
What would you do now?

What would life be like without a single tear?
What would it be like if you lived a million years?

Life is full of choices, obstacles that you build on your own
Your obstacles are dreams, they are wishes
There are everything you do to attempt to build your own thrown

Just take life each day
Without letting anything pass you bye
Try to be happy, but at the same time accept sorrow because if not your life would be a lie

Nobody is always happy
Nobody will always cry
Life is full of different scenarios of everything

So, just take things as they come
I cant promise you the best life
But you can make the best of it

So next time you cry, or you share a smile
Just remember to make your life worthwhile
There will be ups and downs
Smiles and Frowns
But in the end there is always somebody that loves you
