Laura... This is an amazing, beautiful and powerful write!!! A thought for you... We are where we are... Remember that when someone tries to look at you and criticise! You must do a wonderful job as a mother, I know my wife is a wonderful mother, but we have it easier as we are always together looking after our little girl. Be strong girl, you have a warm heart and this poem shines out in your favour. Beautifully written :) |

This is realism at its best Laura, such truth - may I ask if this from an experience of your own? I was a young Mum and I could relate to this all to well lord only knows the struggles i have endured and my partner has been around and 100% supportive. I honestly feel for the young women pulling through on their own trying to make ends meet and deal with the emotional side of becoming a mother for the first time...this is was deep for me perhaps more so than for other readers...its reality...Great write my friend looking forward to reading more of your work :o) |

Good Job. I am a single mom, myself, and know exactly what you're saying in this. |

I can relate to this as I was a single mom for 6 years before I met my wonderful husband. At times I felt overwhelemd with work, school and taking care of children. In the end it all paid off though. I believe the struggles in your life can make you a stronger person. Thank you for sharing your poetry, it is an inspiration to many. |
