When I was a baby, I was the only one.
With no one to touch me, just you and my mom.
I gave my first steps, and you were impressed.
I had my first bruise, and you found a cure.
I lost my first tooth, and you knew what to do.
My first day at school, was really cool,
But there was a part of me, that needed you too;
To walk me to class and to play in the grass.
As time flied by, I was still the only one with no one to touch me,
Just you and my mom.
I graduated from Elementary from Middle School too;
You said you were proud of me, & I knew that you were.
Five years have passed by, & I've grown so much more,
From mentality to personality,
You've shown me the world.
Though still today I have my falls,
I know your there to break the walls.
Though I've never told you this,...
I'm blessed with your brace, so truly and grace,
I couldn't have asked god for more than what you are,
I'm glad your my FATHER,
And your always in my heart!!!!
