That Moment

by Sophi[e]   Apr 5, 2006

For all these things that I have done,
The emotional weight: now weighing tons.
I'm truly sorry for hurting you all,
I trip and stumble, to the ground I fall.

As life as we know it, soon will end.
And reading through letters, i meant to send,
The slow the years just fly by
And the buckets fill with the tears I still cry.

And nobody sees that Im left alone,
Dont come to my house, dont bother to call.
Dial your number; can you hear your phone ring?
No answer; my worry overrides everything.

My worry passes as I see you across the street.
But for a moment, I forgot my problems in the heat
The heat of the moment, and now I remember and see.
That lonely I may be: but all because of me.

Good peice, just 2 comments in the 3rd stanza their are a couple of site error which may need attending tt, also the 2nd line in the 2nd stanza may need a little attention as at the moment the frammer is slightly questionable thouhg if you were to correct this then the rhyme scheme would be out...

discounting this, however, the peice is good. it's well written with some well explored ideas. I esspessially like the final stanza, it really closes the peice off well and is well presented.
