Addiction

A cut means.
a pain,
a drink means,
a shame

a smoke eases,
a crave,
an order,
makes a slave

a picture can mean,
a wh0re,
a gun can mean,
the floor.

a bullet means,
a hole,
in a heart,
that you stole.

a razor,
to help the pain,
a purge can stop,
the gain.

but I guess an addiction is an addiction,
we all know,
it\'s always going to hurt the same.

    Direct powerful statements I can relate to from past experiences raydeen...I enjoyed this poem its got a unique style and it was a pleasure to read. Would love you to read some of my earlier poems about addiction and the like if your interested and have time...thanks for your kind comment also
