Her Screaming Monster

by TweetyJoe   Apr 6, 2006

Sitting alone yet again
She sits not saying a word
For fear her thoughts might slip
She wouldn't want that again
It's supposed to be a new life, a new
place
But it's only new faces
This is the fifth time in 2 years
They always discover her secret
Her secret monster
The one who tells her she's too fat
The one who says she's a mistake
She's too this, she's too that
The monster that controls her is an ugly
thing
Everyone sees her as a princess
She's got long gold hair and big blue
eyes
Some say she's anorexic or depressed
But she wont let anyone know about
the monster
She's told too many as it is he says
Tell someone else and move again
She cries bloody tears every night
So no one hears her screaming heart
Maybe someday someone can over
power her monster
And quiet her big, beautiful heart
Before she releases her soul

That poem was totally awesome. I loved how you mingled it in with the monster thing. Awesome job.
