I am looking at her picture
and it brings me to tears
I wish that I could help her
Or take away her fears

I can tell that she is depressed
Her eyes are staring empty
Her cute smile is long gone
And I can't believe what I see

This girl was once happy
Not a care in the world
But something changed that
Some one hurt this little girl

Years ago she was raped
By some one she knew well
He took her innocence and life
He brought to her this hell

After that one painful night
She was never the same
She kept it a deep secret
And never spoke his name

Her picture explains it all
Just take one look at her arm
Cause when it got too much
She turned to self-harm

Her scars are a reminder
Of her miserable life
And I was by her side
When she used her knife

I hide away her picture
Cause the girl I see
Will always have a blank stare

    Hi belinda i really like your poems but i actually found them to be a little better the first time i read them on a different site. plagerism is a crime and actually quite nasty, its stealing recignition from the origonal authors. i also found that you didnt write some of your quotes. please dont steal peices from other people or atleast state the real authors name.
