Two kids in Oceanside

Two kids in Oceanside

My mom was gone,
My dad was too,
They left me with an aunt,
Didn't bother to say I love you,
They went their separate ways,
Started different lives,
I guess they forgot,
They had two kids in Oceanside.

My sister and I,
Would wonder why?
Why it is,
They left us behind.

Did they no care?
Could they not love?
Not even for,
Their own flesh and blood.

Apparently we didn't mean much.
We're from their past,
Not their future.
They erased us from their minds,
They forgot,
They had two kids in Oceanside
