Sealed Lips

Everyone keeps asking questions
wondering if it's true.
Is it true that I love him?
Is it true that he loves me too?

To them we're guilty until proven innocent.
We decidedly plead the fifth.
One day we may spill the beans,
but until then our love remains a myth.

I refuse to say a word.
Why should we make our love known?
There are only two people who need to know
and I consider it our business alone.

Then again why not tell everyone?
It would be a relief to have it unveiled.
Maybe I'll tell them and maybe I won't,
but until I decide my lips are sealed.

    Very good poem, i enjoyed it a lot. i agree, people should just stay out of everyones business and then hurt from gossip and rumors would be kept to the very minimum. rumors hurt and im glad you spoke out like you did. keep it up!

    CUDDLES!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVED THIS POEM!!! OMG!....I wish a million teenagers could read this...you know what it reminds me of? High school students! In high school everyone is in everyone elses buisness and it is so annoying.I am thankful I am single because I don't want everyone in my buissness and I'm sure only a few people would know! Way to go on this write I totally loved it!!
    Was this one of Sunny's topics? I can't remember! If so way to approach it!
