Closing my eyes
I try to remember your face
The way it looked
The beauty of it when you smiled
I'm trying to recall
Every happy moment
The joy you brought to me
I'm trying to bring back
Memory of the day we met
But every time I think,
Every time I close me eyes
I realize its not easy to remember
Something clouds my memory
So I look into the mirror
And realize the face staring at me
Is all disfigured
Because of the pain in my heart
My heart stopped beating
The day you left
Only a lost soul remains
Hoping that one day someone
Will patch up these wounds
And fix my broken heart,
returning memories to me
So, I close my eyes once more
And imagine a future
Of beauty, or smiles, of joy
Then i know it's possible.
It's possible to move on
