The Figure in Black

by Seronum   Apr 6, 2006

I feel this hate you put in me
I feel it rip me from sanity

Can you taste my sadness
tears of joy falsely run

Like a moth to the flame
I burn and quickly vanish

Today i can die and never have to worry again
Today I can cry as I write with this pen

I know you love me but ill never understand
Your actions so unsure,

am I just blind like a bird who cannot land?

Send me your words with vines of lies and deceit
Watch me as I burn in defeat.

Let me dissolve like the thoughts I have inside
While ever so slowly dying and trying to hide.

Outside it pours sadness upon my head
Releasing my attempts and making my final bed

Rest your little head my dear give your last request
I'm on the road to another life may i forever rest.
never mind the figure in black
hes only my guide of no going back.

Now my world turns upside down
The pills are in hand the room spins round.

Remember these words and listen well
you cannot break a soulless shell

Its hollow and cold but too hard to hold, made of the sadness that forever unfolds.

I only wish for one last request, that you may be happy while i am put to rest.

Rest your little head my dear and give you last request.
I'm on the road to another life, may i forever rest.
Never mind the figure in black, hes only my guide of no going back.
