Inconvenience

by Sakura   Apr 7, 2006

I walk by your side
to be seen but not heard
to show off your catch
to ignore all I've learned..

about you
about me
about us
how around another
I'm just another
inconvenience...

I'm living up to your
expectations
filling for your
reservations
doing all I can to please
letting you fulfill your needs
sealed it up, lost the keys
and at the end....I'm at my knees...

for you
not me
for us?
maybe...
but after all
I'm just another
inconvenience...

All alone
I'm diamond in gold
in a crowd
I'm a weapon to hold
against all the egos
to fuel up your own
but "you'll make it better"
when we get home...

for you
for me
for us
I see..
all this time
I was dragged along
with the rusty old chain
only my love to bind me to
this pain
after all...
Arn't we all your
inconvenience?
