The dragons wing

by Joe Moore   Feb 1, 2004

DUST THOU KNOW THE RADIANCE OF THY FOUL AIR
THAT SHINNING GLOW OF CANCERS CARE
LUNG FILLED KILL BLISSFUL AS VIRGIN HAIR
YOUR SUBLIME INTERTWINED WITH ASININE FAIR

EMPHATICALLY YOU ASPIRE TO
THE PREMONITION THAT ANTICIPATES YOU
AS LONG GUSTS OF CLEAR WHITE EXUDES YOU
WITHOUT REGARD AS SANITY'S CALL ELUDES YOU

UNJUST AND CAUSTIC
THE DRAGON PAUSES
TO BASK IN HIS REALMS DELIGHT

THOUGHTS HELD HOSTAGE
AS THE DRAGON CAUSES
YEARNINGS OF MORE DRAGONS IN THE NIGHT

NOW AS BEAST BREATH QUIVERS
CONTENT THE FOUL AIR IT DELIVERS
FORCED REJECTIONS MAKE KNOWN UNPLEASANT THINGS

AS THE SOUL STRICKENS
TO PREPARE FOR THE QUICKENS
FUTURE FLIGHT FROM THE DRAGONS WINGS

MASSIVE IT STANDS AND PROCLAIMS
THE RECKONING YOU NOW MUST ORDAIN
YOUR QUICKENING HAS BEEN QUICKENED POST HASTE

NOW RADIANCE AIR CUSTOMS BEND
FRUGAL THE GUSTS AS CUSTOMS DESCEND
SOUL MIND FILE FOUL ACTIONS UNDER WASTE

STILL VERIFY CUSTOMS WRY
VERIFICATION GIVES WAY TO DRAGONS CRY
THE BURNING TO ALLUDE CUSTOMS PERPLEXING

MIND CRIES DEFENSIVELY
SOUL FIGHTS INSISTENTLY
YET FOR COMFORT AND WARMTH YOU SEEK THE DRAGONS WING.
