I never had a friend like you
One so caring, helpful and true
When I was more than just down and blue
It was you by my side to pull me through
The world was gray the sky was cold
Its all in my mind so I was told
Life's at its worst, my soul was sold
But ask for help and it comes in double fold
You are a miracle sent from above
Full of kindness, passion and love
To answer my prayers like a graceful dove
