I've tried to hide and ignore it,
I did my best not to think about it
And avoid it...
But it seems like the time is coming.
I'm not sure when, but it's coming pretty quickly

Though we were never physically affectionate,
There was always a something linking us together.
I'll always remember Friday lunches,
Or when you passed by just to say hi.
And when you slept over when no adult was home and we made you dinner...
When you took the dog to the vet and took care of him many many times...
I just want you to know that I love you,
and that you made a big diffrence in all our lives.
When your time will come,
I know I will remember all the good times,
but I hope I'll be ready to say bye.
