Forgetting You

I wish I could fly away,
Into a new world.
Where this pain would go away,
And I could no longer hear your voice.

The looks you give me,
The times we shared...
I thought it meant something,
But I guess you were scared.

Now the time has come,
And I guess I spoke too soon.
Because now you hide,
And make me want to cry.

I cannot cry for you though,
I do have someone else.
But it feels like you are the one,
Who will make my dreams come true.

So I have to stay away from you,
Because you are my evil sin.
I must be pure and true,
And to learn to live without you.
