Dear Ma

by Joshmary Quiles   Apr 7, 2006

I have stood strong since that day
Heavily observing back till today!
No more time to waste,
Got to start moving at a faster paste.

Many years I shed tears for you,
Tiered of having the feeling of having to prove to you.
Many thing's you and I have fought for,
But for once can you acknowledge that respect can not be bought for?

What is it that you want from me?
I can and only have been being me.
Nothing has changed,
Well maybe the fact that I was so called deranged.

I just want us to be a family again
Remember like, back in the day when dad used to be my friend.
Those times were my sister and I used to fight,
BUT STILL MANAGED TO GUARD EACH OTHERS LIGHT.

Why could you not be the person that you were supposed to be?
The one given respect because you gave birth to me.
Getting stressed and running crazy because things are not the same.
Do you not know that it is exhausting to be redundant to the same game?

Well now you know and I am through
So you can come and go when you want to.
Just do not forget who I was to you,
The one whom now ask when the sky will turn from Grey to Blue?

Your oldest daughter Jossy, yeah that is me!
The one on April 29, 87 given the name Joshmary.
The only thing I regret leaving is my sister,
But she knows that no matter what I will always truly love her!

I will not apologize to a lot of things,
But to the fact I did not push myself to better things.
You were everything less than a true mother.
By the way, repeat this to my so called father!
