Poetry is away for me
to get away from the every buddy
to escape the people i hate
because this is my place
some people think poetry is gay
but all i have to say
Why do you hate what you haven't tried
some poems can make people cry
I'm not like other people
i guess thats why i write
i can show the part of me
that i can't set free
its only because of me
some people hate poetry
some friends i have
think I'm a fag
but i don't care
i wouldn't care if they wrote
maybe it would bring them hope
and may set some of there
emotion free, and will may help some buddy
but poetry is away for me
to get away
so don't hate poetry
