Why God, do friends have to die?
I know I should enjoy the time I got to have
but we need friends, so why take them away?
please, will you listen to what I have to say?

Why God, do friends have to die?
I understand you have a plan and your reasons
but this pain is just too much to carry
and losing him just makes me weary.

Why God, do friends have to die?
I want to lean on you and trust your ways,
but I just wonder if I did something to deserve this
it's so unfair to have someone else to miss.

I wrote this after my best friend died

    A time for everything. a time to live, a time to die, a time to reap, a time to sow. no matter how much it hurts. the ability to feel has it's downfalls as well as it's joys

    I am so sorry about your loss! I understand what you're going through. I know it's not nice for you but I always think of dying as not passing away, but passing on--to a better place then this. And your answer is that Chase had a job to do here on earth and when that task was completed he was brought home. It was his time. Thank God for giving you the chance to get to know Chase.
