The unfair torture...

Just because they don't agree,
do they really deserve to die?
mothers and fathers beaten,
while their children watch and cry.
can't they just have their say,
without putting up with this?
do they really deserve to be shot,
or beaten up with sticks?

just a quick one i did in a geography class about torture. its a bit short but we were only asked to do an 8 line poem... i might add onto it if i think of anything else to put on there.

    Wow. this is sad. i felt sad when i read this line:
    mothers and fathers beaten,
    while their children watch and cry.

    Those lines really stand out for me. i really like it, and its really good for a quick little poem
