Put away the blade and the broken glass!

Lost in the darkness,
of a careless and selfish society.
She feels alone and overlooked,
As though she is of no priority.
She suffers alone in silence,
For no one can here her cries.
No one knows of her pain and suffering,
there all to busy living there lies.
She dreams of a person,
to listen to her pain.
To help her through her adversities,
For happiness she wishes to regain.
She looks around to find no one,
She is left fallen all alone.
Physical pain has become a relief to her,
So she desperately seeks a blade, some glass or a sharp stone.
Scars of relief are left behind,
But a are given little time to heal.
Before she is faced with another adversity,
And the pain of the blade she would rather feel.
Today I tell her she is not alone,
And that an amazing man stands by her side.
Not for a moment did he ever desert her,
So she needs no-longer to run and hide.
Put away the blade and the broken glass
for all that is broken he shall repair.
through love and grace he shall mend your life,
And help you through all of life\'s despair.
Who is this person you may ask,
and why would he want to help you through?
because he loves you endlessly,
And theres nothing else God would rather do!

    Great job... that was so true. god is always there no matter what we go thru, he is waiting for us to run back to him so he can lift us into his arms and touch the scars and tell us we are okay.

    Of course this poem is beautiful, along with the rest of ur poems!! my fave lines are..

    society is so blind to the problems around us, the ppl around us.every1 is alwas too busy living in their false worlds. we all need to wake up and realize whats going on in the world. but unfortunatly, we dont live in a perfect society. anyways back to ur poem:P great job! i loved it. keep it up
