Fly

I'm pinned down..
this is no longer help
I hate all this
including myself

I wanna get out of here
get some wings
I need to escape
I want to sing

But i think i know a way
no wait theres more
the two will help me
learn to soar

The first is quite simple
It will teach me to fly
because when you soar
you have to be high

The second is much harder
it scares even me
just thinking about
brings me to my knees

It's way to difficult
this desecration
it isnt really
a happy sensation

day to day
I attempt it once more
all in the hopes
that ill learn to soar
