World of Disguise

by Latasha   Apr 8, 2006

The world so beautiful and full of lovely people,
It smiles with its welcoming nature,
It ensures you everything will be OK,
Even if its just for one day.

I count on it bring me through each day,
I'm terrified of carrying on,
My hands are bloody,
With all my deceitful lies.

I crawl into the world,
And let it welcome me,
As my dirty deeds are covered,
They are only skeletons that haunt my soul.

How could such a beautiful world,
Cause one person so much pain and agony,
Maybe it was my own decisions that brought me all these tears,
My life is full of nothingness.

Maybe the world,
Is just my disguise,
As my troubled self,
Searches for all my unanswered questions.
