A King\'s Empire

by The Black Angel Lloyd Rose   Apr 8, 2006

Crystal moonlight, silent gale,
So peaceful are the roses I smell.
Elder trees by pure water that flows,
To bring a drink to even the blackest rose.
Blanket of grass all around,
An owl is the only thing to make a sound.
The sun's too hot yet the moon is warm.
Not a cloud in the sky and never a storm.
The friends I hold dear have such calm smiles,
Smiles so true; none false with denial.
I accomplished my goal: an empire of care,
Trust, loyalty, peace, and friends who are there.
I protected them and got them this far,
It took my heart to bear many a scar.
But my wounds soon heal because of my friends,
Their happiness is proven by the tranquil winds.
It's such a beautiful place in thine eye,
But it's only a dream and I'm left asking "why?"
