Sweetened Death

by myshiningstar14   Apr 8, 2006

The taste of sweetened
death, gone from my
lipe, and movement
gone from my hips.

The velvet rain on the
dark, cold, window pane.
Now dripping down my
arms and legs.

I lye on the ground alone,
and dead, no words said.
It holds me, and cradles me
in its wet firm hands.

This sweetened death,
is like the mother you
never knew.
This sweetened death,
is like the
beauty you always
dreamed of.
This sweetened death,
gives you the attention
you always wanted.

The taste of sweetened
death, moves through
my cold heart and my
stilled blood, that now
rolls in the mud.

The movement of he
water I feel, oh how I
hope it heals, and
taints this sweetened
death,

The long flowing river
sceams, as my body
gets closer: "Let me
rock you in my arms.
Let me show you the
way home, and a love
so unknown."

This sweetened death,
is like the answer to my
prayers.
This sweetened death,
is like the very thing that
won't hold me down.
This sweetened death,
is like, the beginning of
a journey.
