She sits and she watches you its so hard for her not to cry
All I really wanted was a chance to say bye
The only way would be if time stood still
It seems as if it does when she walks by
If only she could get to say hi
But she cant as she glances at you You glance at her too
Thats when you watch the single tear fall down her cheek
But as you turn around you have to pretend not to get weak
Thats when your girlfriend asks you if your alright you simply lie and say "its been a hard night"
Too ashamed to come true with how you really feel
You just have to give your heart time to heal
All i wish is that i could say bye I would never have to cry
A tear would never fall from my check I would never have to get that weak You would never see how much I'm hurt
and how you are such a jerk
No Matter what your do time will pass by
It will be up to you if you want to say hi
Then maybe i can walk by one day with out wanting to cry
And you can look me in the eyes without wanting to lie
The feelings we have will finally be true
