A Memory of Memories

by Shannon   Apr 9, 2006

Hi, how are you doing today?
We haven\'t talked in so long.
I know I said things would be okay.
I\'m so sorry I was wrong.

Today I was thining about last summer,
I smiled, but then I started to cry.
We created so many memories,
We were bestfriends, you and I.

Now things are so different,
I\'ve missed you everyday.
This isn\'t how things should have went.
I let life get in my way.

Only the good die young,
Let me tell you, this is true.
That is the only reason why
God has taken you.

Looking at this engraved stone,
\"A loving daughter, sister, and friend\".
It\'s the only way that I can see you,
From now until the end.
