Your Eyes

by Shannon   Apr 9, 2006

From the moment I met you
I said \"what\'s up with this kid?\"
I could tell by your eyes,
You weren\'t innocent.
They thought I was jealous.
Because my bestfriend had you
I decided to drop it.
What else could I do?
She talked about you everyday
So I said \"maybe he is good.\"
That all changed one day,
When I saw her saddest look.
You disrespected her,
So I stood up to you.
You hit me in the face
And my eye turned black and blue.
After two and a half years
She ended it right there.
But you showed up at her house
Pretending you did care.
It was a break up and amake up thing
Then my mind was lost
you hurt her more than ever
And now you\'ll pay the cost.
Bruises over her body.
Scars across her face
Now she breathes by monitors
Living in this place.
She didn\'t awake
Not for 5 days.
You\'re out on bail.
But I\'ll put you in your place.
She will be forever scarred,
For the rest of her days.
But let me tell you something
Your eyes are what gave you away.

This was about my bestfriends boyfriend treating her awful. He hit me and then he beat her. She woke up from the coma 5 days later, unfortunately she only lived for 3 more days.
