In Time We all lose

by Braeden Monks   Apr 9, 2006

Your own mind is asking
What's going on with you?
Your emotions don't know either
And sadly you know it's very true

Crying over
The fact you have nothing to
Cry over
The fact you have nothing left to

This year has been too good
Something has to go wrong
You can't believe it but you
Know the hurt is going to last long

Hearts mend
But will it ever trust again?
Hearts will mend
but will you ever be the same again?

I really like this poem, especially the ending. Favourite stanza would have to be:
    "Crying over
The fact you have nothing to
    Cry over
The fact you have nothing left to"
It shows nothing has to be wrong, for it to feel wrong.
Good strong poem, I could relate to it.
