EGO- THE BREAKING FACTOR...

So proud I used to feel,
to have such a friend like you.
But you also left my hand in between,
which shows you are like others too.

Sharing the pains and sorrows,
and lending the shoulder to cry upon.
Now I cannot even see the hand that can,
wipe my tears and saying me "Come on".

The moments we shared cannot be forgotten,
neither by you nor by me.
Then why are these distances made,
Aparting one soul into two, I can see.

We used to hold each other's hand,
Standing so bolder in front of all.
No one could dare to make us apart,
And no one could create a wall.

I wonder what happened to the two pals,
That was known to all as in-separable.
I thought a lot wondering the reason,
its our ego which made our friendship breakable.

I am waiting for your apology,
And you are waiting for mine.
We are eager to talk to each other,
But we are taking so much time.

A crack between the two hearts,
Now never can be mended, I suppose.
But from bottom of my heart even today,
I wish if we could again come close.
