Inside Vs Outside

by Georgi   Apr 9, 2006

She's beautiful in herself
But outside, No.
Theres a fragile heart,
Which battles with her reflection.
X-ray images visible through soft linen.
Past the description of thin, as the last breath of life clings to her bones
And stretches her body into a distorted
Image of Perfection.

Weak, discoloured complexion,
Pride for her hard work; hatred for herself,
Striving to reach something other than
Disgust.
Longing for
Satisfaction.
Seeking only
Death.

Twisting herself into shapes of agony
To eliminate imperfections,
that have made there way inside.
Lies.
Decietful ways of tricking her mind,
Tears.
Journey from blootshot eyes.
Tears.
That havent been tampered with.
Tears,
From the soul, which so desperately longs for beauty.
Tears.
Which never change,
The same tears she cried, once upon a time,
When she was beautiful.

Amazing, absolutely amazing poem. You have quite a talent, and not to sound like I am repeating myself, but the flow was wonderful.
