Show me

by Iola   Apr 9, 2006

Draw me a picture of the life that you live; and let me in on your tale.
Throw me a question about who gets and who give; and I’ll show you that life is so frail.
Give me a piece of your hopes and your dreams; and I’ll give you a piece of mine.
Show me your secrets, your ways and your screams; and I’ll give you some wisdom divine.

Open your heart and show me your soul; and I’ll give you my eternal devotion.
Bless me with your presence and your being as a whole; declare your undying emotions.
Shave your ambition and bring me your scars; and I’ll show you the bruises on my skin.
Drop your confusion and brake through your bars; and you’ll see my layers within.

Take of your mask and show me your tears; and my fury will be seen by you.
Don’t be afraid and confess your fears; and we will declare what is true.
Shed your skin and show me your inside; I will never judge you my friend.
Realize that you have nothing to hide; and I will be there till the end.
